The Falken ZIEX ZE320 has delivered another consistently strong performance in Autoflotte’s summer tyre test, securing second place overall and a total of 791 points.
The trusted German monthly trade journal tested the ZIEX ZE320 in size 235/55 R18 against a competitive range of rivals. The ZIEX ZE320’s safety in wet conditions stood out, setting the benchmark in the longitudinal aquaplaning test at 80.8 km/h – the highest speed recorded. The tyre also performed well in lateral aquaplaning and remained predictable in critical cornering situations. Its wet braking distance of 36.1 m earned a “good” rating, placing the Falken tyre clearly among the top contenders. The wet handling performance was equally convincing: according to the test report, the Falken tyre delivers precise steering response and strong driving stability.
The Falken ZIEX ZE320 inspired confidence on dry roads. In dry handling, it was described as “highly agile” in corners, offering precise lane stability and reassuring, clear feedback and rated as “fast sehr gut” – almost very good. Even more impressive was its performance in dry braking. With a stopping distance of 33.6 m from 100 km/h, the tyre achieved the best result in the entire field, outperforming established premium manufacturers.
