Falken starts new NLS season next Saturday

After the cancellation of the first round due to weather conditions three weeks ago, Falken will start the new season of the 2021 Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) next Saturday. Three familiar faces and one newcomer will take their place behind the wheel of two Porsche 911 GT3 R cars.

Belgian Alessio Picariello will make his racing debut in Falken colours, sharing the #3 with Porsche works driver Dirk Werner. The number 4 sister car will be driven by Sven Müller and Austrian Thomas Preining.

"We are looking forward to the delayed season opener and hope for good weather conditions. After all, the forecast promises dry track conditions and temperatures of eight degrees," says Stefanie Olbertz of Falken Motorsports. "Due to the cancellation of the first round, we lost valuable testing time, which we need to catch up on now. We are well prepared and I am confident that we will succeed."

As always, qualifying will take place from 8:30-10:00 am. The 45th NIMEX DMV 4h Race will start at 12:00 pm.
