Falken Motorsports continues to be plagued by bad luck in the 2026 season of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS). At the 1st ADAC Eifel Trophy, the sixth race of the season on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the teal-and-blue No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R had to be retired shortly before the end of the race despite a convincing performance. Klaus Bachler and Tim Heinemann had been running in third place overall up to that point and were well on their way to a well-deserved podium finish.

FALKEN takes first place in the BRV Service Award: German Tyre Retail and Vulcanisation Trade Association (BRV) announced tyre brand FALKEN, part of Dunlop Tyre Europe GmbH, as the winner at the BRV General Meeting on 8 June 2026.

Falken is reinforcing its position as a sporty, multi-segment tyre brand at THE TIRE COLOGNE 2026. Despite a strong performance, Falken Motorsports did not have the necessary racing luck at this year’s ADAC RAVENOL 24h Nürburgring. After an impressive comeback, the Japanese tyre manufacturer’s team was forced to end the race prematurely in the first half following an unfortunate accident. Up until that point, Klaus Bachler, Morris Schuring, Sven Müller, and Tim Heinemann had been battling for top positions in front of more than 350,000 spectators along the Nordschleife, steadily working their way up the field with consistently fast lap times.

The tyre brand Falken, which belongs to Dunlop Tyre Europe GmbH has been selected as one of three finalists for the inaugural Service Award. For Falken Motorsports, the racing action at the ADAC 24h Nürburgring Qualifiers has taken a back seat for tragic reasons: A fatal accident overshadowed the first race on Saturday evening. The entire Falken team extends its sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of the victim, as well as to the affected team, and wishes them strength during this difficult time. The first race was stopped and not restarted.

After Falken Motorsports impressed with a strong second-place finish overall at the season opener of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS), the No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R was denied the necessary racing luck in the third round of the season, the 57th Adenauer ADAC Circuit Trophy: Klaus Bachler and Benjamin Leuchter were forced to retire the teal-and-blue crowd favorite early due to a issue after a promising start and thus did not see the checkered flag.

The Falken ZIEX ZE320 has delivered another consistently strong performance in Autoflotte’s summer tyre test, securing second place overall and a total of 791 points.

Falken Motorsports has made an impressive start to the new motorsports season: At the 58th ADAC Barbarossa Prize - which was originally scheduled to be the second round of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series (NLS) but now served as the season opener following last weekend’s cancellation - Sven Müller and Tim Heinemann secured third place overall in the No. 44 Porsche 911 GT3 R. Falken is kicking off the 2026 summer season with an impressive run of test successes. The Eifel region once again showed its typical side during the planned season opener of the ADAC RAVENOL Nürburgring Endurance Series: A sudden onset of winter weather ahead of the first race of the new season, the 71st ADAC Westfalenfahrt, led to the event’s cancellation on Saturday. The teal-and-blue Porsche 911 GT3 R with start number 44, which was to be driven by Klaus Bachler and Morris Schuring at the season opener, had to remain in the pits for safety reasons.
